Burnaby Stewardship
Help protect and restore Burnaby's beautiful parks! Volunteers are needed to remove invasive species and plant native trees. Events are free and open to families, youth, and all community members. Participants do not need to be City of Burnaby residents.
No experience is necessary. Events are led by experts at the Invasive Species Council of Metro Vancouver who will provide instruction, gloves, all the required tools, and refreshments.
Our stewardship events in 2026 are held at Burnaby Mountain, Central Park, Deer Lake Park, and Robert Burnaby Park.
